Ronald Weisfeld has been fishing with me for a long time and at the first his wife Michelle would go . It's been a long time but she along with Ronald, daughter Emily and Emily's friend Katy were on the boat today. Wanted a good bite early so started at the north end of the Long Bar and started out with the theme of the day by catching skipjack after skipjack and once in awhile a good trout. Wind was still light so headed north putting the hook down on the Intercoastal waiting for the wind to start blowing. Just about the same old story "a lot of skipjack" Everybody was excited so had them slow down and just let the shrimp drift and not reel it in and started to get trout bites and every once in a while a skipjack. We soon had pods of Dolphin wanting a hand out. Really neat when you can get them to come to the boat and take a skipjack out of your hand  FYI  have some pods that know me and will stay with the boat as long as they are getting fed. If Michele had been using film would have run out. Emily gets a big fish on that turns out to be a big stingray, brought it on the boat and got careless and got a grazing cut on my leg but just a little blood and very little pain  (I know better). Trout finally quit but the girls and Ronald had put most of our limit in the box. Went further north to the "drum" hole and immediately Katy put the biggest trout of the trip on the boat (4 pounds) and a big sheepshead--- finally hit our limit and since everybody was tired headed the boat south with Emily wind surfing most of the way home.  Fun trip!
